I started this company after a 25 year Navy career.  But my interest in employment and career satisfaction began with my first paid job on a landscape crew at age 14, through being fired from a tire retread plant at age 16, intensified while working various odd jobs and through academic studies, and grew throughout my Navy career.  Until command of an aircraft carrier-based squadron, I really did not have a full appreciation for the high quality of military personnel at all ranks and experience levels.  Near the end of my Navy career while working for the Chief of Naval Personnel's Center for Career Development, I participated in Career Fairs with invited guests from industry who impressed upon me how valued military people were; not just for their superior technical training and skills, but for the other equally important traits instilled in us that we all took for granted.  Those traits are honor, selfless devotion to the mission, self-discipline, integrity, respect for superiors; the list goes on and on.

Ralph Ricardo, President

Before making his own transition to the recruiting and placement profession, Ralph “Ricky” Ricardo served 25 years in the United States Navy.  A former E-2C Hawkeye pilot, he flew over 5,000 flight hours including combat missions in Desert Storm, and logged over 500 day and night “traps” (landings on aircraft carriers).  He is a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and in addition, earned Masters Degrees in both Business Administration and Public Administration as well as the Naval War College diploma.  He was selected by the Chief of Naval Personnel to educate Navy service members on career choice for the Center for Career Development.
